Voting on Final Draft CARICOM Regional Standard Professional Engineering - Code of Practice
14 October 2026
We would like to draw your attention to the following.
The Suriname Standards Bureau (SSB) was recently asked by the CARICOM Regional Organisation for Standards and Quality (CROSQ) to cast our vote on the final draft of the CARICOM Regional Standard:
- FCRCP 11: 202x - Professional Engineering - Code of Practice
The Suriname Standards Bureau hereby invites you to cast your vote on the final draft of this standard. We therefore provide you, as a stakeholder or key interested party, with a copy of the aforementioned standard, requesting that you cast your vote and inform us of your findings. Once fully processed, the consolidated results of all findings will be forwarded to the CROSQ secretariat.
As you are aware, following final approval by the Council for Trade and Economic Development (COTED), this standard will be formally established at the regional level by CROSQ. Subsequently, it is expected that the SSB will adopt the standard as a National Standard. For this reason, we strongly urge you to contribute to this standard by casting your vote, as this is the only way for us to convey our vision and position to CROSQ.
You can cast your vote using the link to the online voting form below:
We must receive your vote no later than Wednesday, 21 October 2026.
Should you have any further questions, please contact the Standards Development department at +597 499928 or via e-mail: standards@ssb.sr.
